This is just Amazing,

Absolutely incredible for how much rain we have received in March and the first 9 days in April.

The link below are Rain totals as of 8am yesterday, so as soon as the update comes in, I expect the entire county will be at 100% of rainfall and above for the year.

This shows Cachuma at 77.5 % yesterday, but that will only go up when we get 8 am updates.

I was in Montecito yesterday on a roof and I could hear the creeks roaring. It was sweet to listen to.

These will continue to flow for the next week and more in areas. I think Cachuma will be above 80%.

It has been a long time since that has occurred. I believe 2012.

Since it started raining last night, everyone has seen 1/4 to 3/4 more rain.

Today will be no different as steady light rain will fall all day long. This will only increase our rain totals.

Expect another 1/2 to 3/4 coastal and over an inch in the mountains.

Rain will finally move out Friday. That darn low pressure system has danced, and circled the state all week.

It is now moving back over the coastal waters and will start its southeast truck later today.

Rain will end for SB, Santa Ynez and Ventura tonight.

SLO will get the least amount of rain and LA the most with another 2.5 inches in the LA mountains.

Just Amazing !!👍

Here is what the radar looks like right now:

Moving beyond, looks like the weekend will not be as sunny as we thought. Low clouds and fog is likely.

This will make the mayor of SB happy, since migration to the beaches will be less likely this holiday weekend.

Oh yes, did you know Easter is Sunday.

It will be quite different with no Easter egg hunts. No church gatherings, and no Sunday brunch anywhere but your homes.

I personally will miss the Biltmore Brunch...oh well. We will have a bigger celebration next year to make up for this one.

Make the best of it, smile and be happy.

I will be off buying Easter eggs for my granddaughter's Easter egg hunt at the house.

Enjoy the rain 🌨
