Good Tuesday morning,

Did you see the full moon this morning? It was like a flashlight shinning in my window.

This morning we are starting out will mostly clear skies, but don’t be fooled, more rain is on the way.

The low pressure system that has been parked over Northern California pumping subtropical moisture at us is shifted south and will begin to create more rain for us today and tonight.

It looks like we will remain fairly dry until the early afternoon, then rain will start up again as moisture draws into our area.

We are looking for rain to start around 1 pm here in SB. Areas south around noon.

Looks like we will see an additional 1/4 to 1/2 inch coastal and up to an inch in the mountains and foothills.

Snow levels are quite low this morning at 4000 feet, but will climb today to 5000 to 5500.

Looks like some areas will see 8 to 10 inches of snow above 5000 feet.

Tonight showers will remain in the forecast through the night and into Wednesday.

The low pressure system is going to just rotate and park itself off shore through Wednesday and brings us more showers.

Wednesday night the low moves East and showers will be mainly over the mountains into Thursday.

Thursday coastal areas should be dry, with a chance of a mountain shower spraying into the coastal and valleys areas.

Friday we clear out. Cool day with highs in the low 60s.

Saturday and Sunday a slight warm up. But it is now looking like 70 will be shorted.

Next week is looking dry, and gives us a chance to absorb all this rain, and watch the lake levels Rise 😀😄👍

Enjoy the dry weather this morning, but know it will rain this afternoon.
