Good Friday morning,

It is going to be the nicest day in the next 7. So enjoy it, because it will change on Sunday.

Today we have weak off shore flow, which will make for a nice warm day, highs in the upper 60s and some low 70s.

Great day to get off work early .... Dina that means you on your birthday, I am for sure.

Saturday we will start with the off shore flow, then turn to on shore as the storm system nears us.

Here is what it looks like from the sky, you can see the low pressure system brewing on the satellite.

Sunday the storm starts to pull closer and clouds will approach. Rain should stay away until the afternoon in SLO then head south to SB in the evening.

Rain will start off light, but don’t be fooled. This is a February storm in April. Rain will become heavy around midnight connecting with some good sub tropical moisture.

This will enhance rainfall in Santa Barbara due to our mountain and south flow. Mountains of SB will see 2 to 3 inches.

Montecito should see a good 2 inches. Everyone will see at least an inch of rain.

Monday the rain will turn to showers by noon, but expect rain most of the day, on and off at times.

Tuesday the low will hang around until late Wednesday. It looks like afternoon showers could happen Tuesday and especially Wednesday afternoon.

This will be a good storm. Which is quite impressive for April.

Thursday we clear out and return to drier weather.

Have a great weekend, it will be dry for most of it.

Stay healthy.
