Good Thursday morning,

Not a lot of excitement with the weather the next few days except for high surf on the central coast today, however, look out for late in the weekend. It is looking like we will see lots of rain, especially in Santa Barbara.

This system is still well to the north and will take its time getting here.

Today there is onshore flow with some fog to start the day . . Nice weather over all with highs in the upper 60s.

Friday is a little more exciting, because it is Dina's birthday. Also a weak off shore flow will make Friday a nice day.

Saturday, more of the same but some high and mid level clouds will drift over us.

Sunday is when it starts to get more interesting. The low pressure system should start light rain in SLO, then slowly drift towards us during the day.

Rain will likely hold off until later in the afternoon. This system is looking pretty good, especially since it is April.

It is going to pull some subtropical moisture with it and bring us heavier rain between mid night Sunday and noon Monday, then turn to showers.

This will have south flow and wind, which will enhance rainfall in Santa Barbara. Mountains are talking about 2 to 3 inches, coastal likely over an inch in SB.

This next system should make those creeks flow again.

This is a colder system, so snow level will drop to 4500 feet over night Sunday.

Snow will top some of those santa Ynez mountains.

Tuesday and Wednesday is still not clear at this point. So we will call it with a chance of showers.

That’s the weather excitement for the day, make the best of your day and stay healthy.
