Good morning,

It is that day. April Fools! With all joking aside, I hope there are not April Fools jokes today. None from me at least.

Yesterday was a great warm day. Highs were in the mid 70s . It  was nice to think that warmer weather is on its way.

Today, however, will be a little cooler as off shore weakens and onshore comes back.

Today will bring highs in the upper 60s, with the central coast cooling off around 10 degrees from yesterday.

Thursday through Saturday will be uneventful. Highs will be in the 60s with some onshore flow and chances for some low clouds in the morning.

Sunday, a low pressure system is going to move south and bring us more rain.

Yes, the rainy season is not over yet. Clouds should start to roll in Sunday afternoon and we should see some rain Sunday night and Monday.

After that, Forecast models differ on how long the low will hang around.

Early rain totals are looking at 1/2 to 1 inch. This will become clearer over the next few days.

Enjoy the first of April.

How does it go, "April showers bring May flowers."
