Happy Friday the 13th. Not sure if I even want to be near the stock market after the beating, it has taken this week. But Friday the 13th is a lucky day for them so far, with DOW up 1000 points.

As far as weather goes, finally that cut off low is moving out of the area. Now centered over the California - Arizona border. We are still having a chance of wrap around moisture through this morning.

Wrap around moisture is still causing plenty of rain in the LA area now. The past 24 hours, Camarillo has seen 1.37 inches with SB getting 1/10 of a inch. Even in the past hour, Carp has seen .03/100.

All in all, it is over after this morning for our area. Everyone has seen 1 to 3.5 inches of rain this week.

As much as the rain has pretty much shut down any outdoor work or plans this week, it is all good.

We welcome the rain, we just want more and at a faster pace….. if you feel the same way as I do, well you might be in Luck.

Today the rain goes away, but it will remain damp.

Saturday looks to be cloudy and damp again with drizzle and light rain possible in the foothills and mountains.

Sunday, the next system rolls in. This is from the north and will descend on the central coast Sunday night and drop into the Santa Barbara areas sometime Monday, LA Monday night.

This is another cut-off low, so that means rain will be around for days. It will just park itself off shore and spin, this creates a nightmare for forecaster not knowing exactly what it will do.

It looks like it can tap into some subtropical Tuesday and create heavier rain. Rain chances will remain around Wednesday and into Thursday.  So it looks like another week of damp weather.

With 1 to 2 more inches of rain.

If that is not enough, looking out next weekend we could see another or even stronger storm. Of course this is a ways away, so we will see what happens as the days move on.

What will we do with our spare time? Rainy weather keeps us inside and no sports make TV viewing boring… does anyone know some good series to watch?

Enjoy the wet weather, March is turning into a wet month. This is exactly what we really needed.

Hang in there, it will get better….
