Good Tuesday morning,

Yesterday was quite warm in the sunshine. We hit 77 for a high in Santa Barbara.

Even if it felt much cooler at time. I must have taken my jacket on and  off 1/2 a dozen times.

Today we have off shore winds, sunny skies and wind from the northeast in LA to Ventura. Yes a typical Santa Ana event.

Winds gusts in the mountains around 60 miles an hour and coastal and valleys in the 30s.

Winds will die down this afternoon and highs today will be slightly above normal in the upper 60s to low 70s. No wind in Santa Barbara.

Wednesday off shore weaken and moves East. This will allow onshore winds that will bring back some morning dampness.

Thursday a low from the north passes through and does nothing more than cool us down a bit.

A cut off low is likely to form south of our area, so no rain will occur for us.

We will then return to off shore winds with no chance of any rain for the next 7 days.

Not great for us. We want rain now.

Sadly I have no control over this, we will hope for a late February storm and March miracle.

Have a great day.

Jack Martin
