Good Sunday morning,

Here we are nearing the end of January 2020. This first month of the new year has been extremely dry.

Unfortunately, we once had a chance of rain for today, but if you want to see the rain, you will need to go to northern California.

Today there is a weak system just off the central coast this morning.

It will push over us this afternoon, but do nothing more than give us some clouds and a few areas of possible drizzle.

After this pushes over us, our weather turns extremely dry for the next week.

We will have at least a 6 day dry period, with temps by the end of the week into the 80s in some valley locations. The only good news in the forecast is January comes to a close at the end of the week and we welcome February. We will hope for rain that month.

February is generally our wettest month of the year. So we will see what that brings us.

In the meantime, enjoy the nice sunrises and sunsets. Highs today will be in the upper 60s.

Have a great Sunday, back to work in 24 hours.
