Good Sunday morning,

Right when we thought the rain was figured out on Saturday, we will throw a monkey wrench into the forecast. Yesterday we talked about all the rain in LA and Ventura.

Now it is not that likely. Rain is still going to happen, but the track has changed.

It now looks like low pressure will dig south today, but continue south and miss most of LA.

So what is the latest forecast?

Today is looking good. Sunny, but cool with highs below normal around 60 degrees.

This afternoon we should see some mid to high clouds over us.

Tonight the low drops south and is parked 100 miles west of point conception.

This will start rain on the central coast around 4 am, then move it south into SB and then Ventura. Rain might miss LA all together.

Monday we will see rain, and showers. Totals for central coast around 1/4 to 3/4.

SB 1/4 to 1/2 Ventura 1/4.

Tuesday we turn to off shore winds. Catalina and Avalon harbor will be rocking once again, but not in a good way.

Looks like the Santa Ana event will last through most of the week. By Thursday and Friday we will warm up and reach 70s.

The good news is after Monday’s rain, we will be dry for the rest of the week.

Snow levels on Monday will still be very low, so we will see what that brings to local mountains and the Grapevine.

Enjoy your Sunday, Go Seahawks (good game tonight.)
