Good Sunday morning ,

Blue skies are still out there, but it will not last to much longer. Pearl was hoping to get a chance to run on the beach . she is in luck .

The rain is moving into north county right now and will be here before noon

Today we will see rain starting north to south. It will arrive in Santa Barbara by noon. Looks like we will just see some steady rain through tonight.

Monday we will see some morning showers, but for the most part, the afternoon will see the sun back again.

Tuesday transition day, but a chance of rain Tuesday night.

Wednesday, the rain looks to give us the best shot later in the afternoon Christmas day.

Wednesday night and Thursday rain. This system should be weaker than the first one today.

Friday and Saturday we dry out and sunshine is back.

So what are we looking at for rain? Today, the first system ½ to 1 ½ inches coastal. South facing mountains 2 plus inches.

The air will turn chilly this afternoon, dropping the snow level to 4500 feet.

Christmas system looks at this point to give us ¼ to ¾ of an inch of rain. Still too early to know for sure, but it does look to give us less rain than today's system.

Get outdoors quickly or you will miss the dry window.

Have a great Sunday.
