Good Thursday morning,

The next few days is all about the heat and the wind to the south of us through Friday.

This may seem like a broken record, but it is that time of year for Santa Ana winds.

Winds will pick up this morning in Ventura and all Santa Ana wind prone areas. This will lead to a high fire danger, as we have a fire in San Bernardino reported this morning.

There will also be some power outages to the south of our area. Here are the areas that are in question:

As far as the heat goes, the next 2 days we will be back to hot. Looks like 90s for all again this week. Even some triple digits.

Saturday, the wind will begin to calm and temps cool some on Sunday. The bad news is we are looking at another event next week.

Winds will be in the 30 to 40 mile an hour speeds, with gusts 50 plus miles an hour.

Santa Barbara, no wind just hot weather.
