Good Saturday morning,

Lots of clear skies out there today. As a matter of fact, we are looking at the same conditions through next week.

The story is once again about the wind. A system to the north is pushing into the Great Basin and this will create wind once again.

Looks like the target area is the Montecito hills with a wind gust of 71 miles an hour at 1am. Most winds have been 40 to 50 mile gusts.

Today the winds will calm some, but pick up again later in the day. 40 to 50 mile an hour gusts are likely in the mountains.

Everyone should feel them, but Montecito hills the most. As far as electric outages, the only places that should be affected is the mountain areas.

Wind will shift to ventura on Sunday. We will begin a Santa Ana event which will warm us up into the 90s in the valleys for the first half of the week.

Thursday and Friday, we should see some cooling but still nice.

All in all, a good weekend along the coast. Just some pretty good winds in the hills.

Enjoy the weekend.
