Good Sunday morning,

If you look outside right now to the west, you will see the full moon setting.

Since the wind to the south is gone, they can recover from the mess in the yards and decks. The good news is the fires were minimal.

Today will be sunny and cooler. Highs in the low 70s along the coast and low 80s inland.

Aa a matter of fact, this will be the case all week. We will see high pressure build and breakdown a few times.

Today through Monday, it is low pressure with the marine layer returning on Monday.

Tuesday, a weak high rolls in through Wednesday. Temp in the valleys will  jump to the mid 80s.

Thursday, low pressure tools in again. With this one, we are expecting the winds to shift over Santa Barbara, Goleta and Gaviota as we get a sundowner wind event from the Northwest.

The weekend of next is looking warmer as high pressure builds back in.

Needless to say, the change of seasons is beginning. We are starting to see mountain snows in the northwest and systems just beginning to drop a little further to the south.

Have a great Sunday!
