Good Thursday morning,

Are you ready for power outages???.... not in SB, but Ventura to Santa Clarita, also Northern California. They are talking about 650,000 customers will be affected by this wind event starting here Thursday and Northern California today.

Today, that cold Canadian low has pushed further south and will give us a cooler day.

Tonight the winds will begin to turn off shore, this should clear out any fog that will drift in tonight.

Now Thursday..... we are going to now see a strong Santa Ana event.

Winds Ventura and south and east will blow 30 to 40 miles an hour with gusts to 50 miles an hour. In the mountains they will see gusts in the 60s with wind 40 to 50 miles an hour. Friday the winds will continue to blow hard into the afternoon, then begin to back off.

Saturday through Tuesday, we begin to go back to normal.

It is going to be an interesting 48 hours starting tonight through Friday.

Power outages and chances of wild fires will be watched closely. For us in SB, no real affect from all of this. Temps remain in the 70s during the day and 50s at night.

We will just call SB a slice of Heaven ....

Oh speaking of, remember in my forecast yesterday, I was talking about how many days until the holidays and the birth of Cooper.

Guess who arrived a week early... yep, Cooper 6# 9 oz baby girl 👧 Cooper Hu Martin.

My friends to the south, beware of the winds.
