9/8/19 Wind Update

By Jack Martin on Sep 09, 2019 at 03:43 PM

Good Sunday morning,

Winds last night made it as far south as the San Marcos Pass. SCE shut down the power on some 600 homes, north of Goleta.

The winds did come up in Goleta north, but Santa Barbara had little wind.

Today we will have another warm day, with another round of sundowner winds tonight from the Northwest.

Looks like winds will change to the Northeast around midnight and this will affect the Montecito hills.

Winds will be moderate with hills 30 to 40 miles an hour. Coast 10 to 25 miles an hour.

Today highs will be in the upper 80s and low 90s. Highs of the day will likely come this evening.

Monday into midweek, we will begin a cool down with temps in the 70s and low 80s.

Have a great Sunday.

Thank you for your prompt response. I am so grateful for what you did. All through the following rain storms I was thanking you. This is what, in my mind, is an incredible business response. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
