Good Friday morning,

Wow, September has started out with great summer weather. Evenings  and sunsets are fantastic. This was my house last night.

Today we will begin a transition into low pressure pushing the high pressure to the south. This will create WIND this evening and especially Saturday night.

Sundowner winds will come up this evening in Gaviota then move south to us on Saturday. This will give coastal areas winds in the evening of 15 to 30 miles an hour, mountains 40 to 50 miles an hour.

The biggest concern is always the chance of a fire. Where most of our hills have burned, anything is possible with winds. Of course this is just the beginning of Santa Ana and sundowner wind season.

As far as temps go. It will be quite warm through Sunday with sundowner winds, Goleta and Santa Barbara will see there highs of the day in the evenings. Highs will be in the 90s with warm nights.

You will want AC the next few days .... "Brother B !!! " it also looks like some folk might have there power turned off. SCE says around 4600 customers in west Goleta and near the Pass might have their power turned off.

Hot weather through the weekend, cooling starts on Monday with highs going into the upper 70s and low 80s, as low pressure system rolls in.

Have a great weekend, see you at the Hayward lumbers 100 years.

ALSO, Thank you for everyone voting Action Roofing the Best of Santa Barbara (you all rock ) maybe next year best weather man too !! and worst speller ...

Okay techno-jack!! I will love to give y’alls a double thumbs up, or at least 10 gold stars. I was way impressed with Tony and his young sidekick. Maybe Thomas? They just changed the whole complexion of what we’re going to do. Making it work too! I’ve decided that the key to your enormous business success is your skill in hiring and picking business partners. In my experience, I can think of Sharon, Jeannie, Ricky, Doug, Kirk, Tony, Jorge, Octavio. And I haven’t even seen Beatriz or Ana yet. You continue to hit those line drives, even if your run to 1st base has slowed a bit. So fun for me to see!!
