Good Tuesday Morning

By Jack Martin on Aug 27, 2019 at 03:26 PM

Summer is in full swing, with not a lot to report. Of course this weekend is Labor Day weekend and there will be lots of Action in Santa Barbara.

I think this year will be the second anniversary of the micro burst that we had over the Labor Day weekend in 2017.

I don’t expect we will see anything like that, but there is a chance the monsoonal flow will move over LA mountains and deserts late this weekend.

Good thing we don’t live in Florida or the Caribbean, because Doran is going to make there weather exciting, but not fun.

For us this weekend the streets will fill, shops will be busy and downtown will thrive.

Traffic is another story. Keep off the freeways after 1pm Friday and Monday day time. It will be busy.

For now, weather is not too complicated. Ivo is just to the west, throwing us some high clouds and humidity.

There will be a pretty sunrise and sunset. Other than that, there is no impact.

Fog is pretty much a non factor all week. We will see clearing quickly where it does exist.

Temps will be great around the coastal areas. Highs in the low 80s and a few degrees above normal.

Inland areas, you will remain quite warm, with 90s and triple digits in Paso and some valleys. Great Lake weather, you want to be near water.

The beaches will be the place to be this weekend. Fantastic weather, and we will see the start of a new month.

Yes, September is right around the corner. The good news is summer continues for 2 more months here in southern California.

Enjoy your week, and especially time off from work. It will be a perfect time to enjoy the outdoors.

Don’t forget. We are in the last day for Best of Santa Barbara. If you have not voted, please vote for Action Roofing.

Remember this .... interesting to watch again

Testimontials

Okay techno-jack!! I will love to give y’alls a double thumbs up, or at least 10 gold stars. I was way impressed with Tony and his young sidekick. Maybe Thomas? They just changed the whole complexion of what we’re going to do. Making it work too! I’ve decided that the key to your enormous business success is your skill in hiring and picking business partners. In my experience, I can think of Sharon, Jeannie, Ricky, Doug, Kirk, Tony, Jorge, Octavio. And I haven’t even seen Beatriz or Ana yet. You continue to hit those line drives, even if your run to 1st base has slowed a bit. So fun for me to see!!
