Good Thursday morning,

This week has got me all screwed up on the day. I have to pause and think about what day it is.

The month is coming to the end and May looks to provide some fireworks in the mountains to close out the month.

Fireworks in the form of thunder and lightning is possible.

“check out this movie of a thunder storm forming“

Thanks Mike!

This is all due to cold air and a low pressure system dropping down out of the north.

The low pressure system will drop south and remain in the area through Sunday.

For us it really should not affect the coastal areas. This will be at peaks or mountains where the cold air sits.

With heat of the day rising, the pretty white clouds can form and if they get enough moisture, it all drops to the ground.

Bottom line, the best chances are 30% and this is not in our area. It is all to the east.

Here is the low pressure dropping south. You can see it on satellite.

For our areas, fog in the morning. Warming in the afternoons is what to expect.

High in the mid 70s in the afternoons and 50s at night.

June arrives on Saturday. We will see what that brings us. In the meantime, enjoy the end of May.
