5/15/19 Rain Forecast

By Jack Martin on May 15, 2019 at 02:46 PM

Good Wednesday morning,

Another cloudy day for all. Today will be dry for the most part with some morning dampness.

Tonight the Action begins. Rain will start from north to south.

SLO will see rain begin around 9 pm and move south. SB should see the rain about midnight. LA by dawn.

This is a late season storm that will give us more than spotty rain totals.

Rain along coastal areas will total around 1/2 inch and mountains can see 1 to 2 inches.

“ that’s pretty crazy for this time of year”

Rain will taper to showers Thursday by noon.

Friday and half of Saturday, a weak ridge builds in. This will keep us dry, but winds pick up on Friday morning.

Looks like another weaker system rolls in late Saturday and will give us a little more rain.

This is a more northernly system, so total will be less and lighter.

Monday should be dry, then Tuesday and Wednesday is really not clear at all.

Two long range models call for rain on different days.

No real consistency at this point, so we will call for a chance until they get more in line.

All in all, this season has been a real success for rain and lake cachuma, but a pain for a roofing contractor...

Enjoy what Mother Nature hands us, you're ready now.

Thank you Action Roofing! On a ridiculously busy and rainy day like yesterday, I greatly appreciate you taking care of my client’s leaking roof. As a realtor, I make sure to always take care of my client’s needs before, during and after our transaction. It is wonderful to have a great company like Action Roofing to rely on to do the same! Thank you!!!
