Happy Mother’s Day.

It will be a nice day after the fog and low clouds burn off.

Today we should see some low 70s coastal and upper 70s in Santa Ynez.

Overall great day with high pressure building in through Tuesday.

It has been interesting to follow our weather this month. It is quite unusual to see as much rain chance as we have had.

Yesterday even saw thunder showers just about everywhere for a short time. Today any build up should stay over LA mountains.

Also, in the long term forecast, models are starting to agree that more rain is possible Wednesday to Friday.

The exact timing is not clear, as the long range models do not agree with the start.

Both now are calling for rain. It also might be a good late season storm. One model is talking about 1 inch of rain.

We will see where the days take up on this system.

In the meantime, enjoy a nice Mother’s Day and a nice start to the work week....

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there.
