5/6/19 Rain?

Good Monday, May 6, 2019. The cut off low is still drifting around. This thing has wobbled to the north over the Central coast and is now moving back over the ocean and will move south today:

This thing has a mind of it's own and computer models always have problems figuring out what cut off lows will do.

It does now look like it is going to get caught up into the jet stream and it will move south and east today.

Rain chances for Santa Barbara will begin this morning. Rain is over Santa Maria now and will move into Santa Ynez and to SB.

The rain will be light, with a max of 1/4 of an inch. The rain moves east tonight and any showers will end.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be nice.

Thursday through Saturday, another wobbling cut-off low will drive computer models Batty with a chance of rain again.

Sunday, we look to have a nice warm up.

Speaking of Sunday, I was driving home yesterday and ran into a brief shower. Rain was coming down hitting the street and creating steam. It was interesting to watch. (see attached)

Have a good week, look for some rain at some point today.

Your crew was excellent and you trained them well. They were great to work with. We are so glad we chose you to do our roof.
