Thursday Forecast

Good Thursday morning,

It is great to look outside and see day light starting at 5:30 am.

We will have 1 dry day before another storm rolls in tonight. The next weather system will be cold, with snow levels at 4000 feet.

It will also bring just a little rain. We are looking at 1/10 to 1/4 of an inch between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Friday is looking to be dry for the most part, but cold. Snow levels will drop to 3000 feet.

Saturday and Sunday also look to remain dry, and chilly. Temps will be 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.

Saturday night or 3am Sunday, we turn our clocks ahead. You will lose an hour of sleep, but gain an hour of light in the evenings. Great news for lynn and myself who get up to early every morning.

Sunday night into Monday, another weak system rolls in. Again cold and dry. This is looking to be an inside slider. Meaning the low is to track over land with very little moisture. We will see a few showers, but mostly winds from the northwest.

Tuesday and Wednesday looks to set up a dry northwest flow, so we might be looking at a break in the Action.

All the rain has really helped the lakes. Lake Cachuma is approaching 70% at 68.3% right now.

Nacimiento is at 75% …. All the rain is going to make a great lake season.

Bring a jacket today, it is cool out there… no umbrella needed no matter what the TV says.
