2/22/19 Calm Weather Ahead

By Jack Martin on Feb 22, 2019 at 05:20 PM

Good Friday morning,

It has been a wild month of February, with crazy storms. This last system was very exciting for some.

However, Santa Barbara missed all the ACTION.

Areas to the north, Santa Maria, SLO, and Santa Ynez all saw 1/2 of a inch. We saw 2/100.

The most exciting part was yesterday, when that red cell went through Nipomo.

Gordon sent me some photos, then Andy came through with the video.

WOW!! I hope it went through to all, that was crazy. It is nice to have our team sharing photos and videos with All.

Now we can just settle in, watch temps begin to rise, however they will start out really cold. Some of you are waking to 20s and 30s.

Chill and below normal temps will prevail through the weekend.

We will see more sunshine and dry weather through the next week. The good news is we get a full week with a break.

Temps will begin to rebound next week and we will get close to mid 60s for highs.

That will be a treat, because I am not used to this cold stuff.

Hope everyone has a great dry weekend.

Thanks to all for photos and videos. It makes my text more interesting.

Here are a few more. The radar is from the area where the hail storm landed on the 101 yesterday.

Keep the photos coming.
