1/28/19 Monday Weather

Good Monday morning,

What a fantastic weekend it was. I hope everyone was outside enjoying it. It is always amazing to see 80s in January.

Today is going to start with high clouds. Still a really nice day. Coastal areas will be in the low 70s, inland might hit 80.

We will have dry weather through Wednesday, then it all changes.

A low pressure system moves towards the central coast Wednesday night. Then, drops into our area Thursday morning.

We are looking for rain Thursday, starting over night Wednesday.  This system looks to be weaker with around ¼ to ½ of rain.

Friday is looking dry, but another system rolls in Friday night, the timing is still up in the air because the models differ on timing.

This system looks to be stronger, with at least an inch of rain coming our way Friday night into Saturday.

We will need to watch this and look at it's strength.  If this turns into a cut-off low. Rain will likely be delayed, but it will be a stronger system with greater rainfall.

Regardless it will rain, Friday night into Saturday. Time will deliver more answers.

Sunday and into next week, we are looking at continued wet weather with more energy affecting us. Looks like February will start off like Jan did.

We need the rain, so bring it on.

Have a great day. It is a little warmer to start the day, with the high clouds.
