Good morning,

Thought I would throw out a quick forecast, before a rough day.

Today we will see some high clouds as a weak ridge builds in.

Sunday, there is a storm system to the north. This will move down the coast Sunday night into Monday. At one time it was going to stay well to the north. Now it looks like it will sag further south and appears to be wetter.

It looks like rain can fall as far south as northern Santa Barbara county. Santa Ynez could see rain. For us, likely no rain, but we will need to watch this.

Monday through the rest of the week looks dry. No rain for a week.

The good news from all the rain is lake Cachuma has risen 5 ½ feet and is now at 35% up from 30%. Gibraltar is overflowing.

Also good news Is this is the first time water is flowing into Cachuma this early in the year. It has been since 2011 that water flowed into Cachuma this early.

Ok that’s it for the day.
