Good Saturday morning,

Dry, but windy weather for some locations. Everyone will have chilly temps.

Today I decided to feature Santa Ynez, my old stomping grounds.

If you are waking up there this morning, it is a chilly 30 degrees. Highs for the day will hit 60 degrees at best.

For Ventura and areas south, in Santa Ana land, wind will be your cup of tea.

This morning it is somewhat calm, but cold wind will kick up around noon and get stronger tonight.

Winds will blow in the mountains 30 to 40 around noon, then rise to 50 to 60 miles and hour tonight.

This will also transfer to the valleys and coastal areas. Winds however will be much less 15 to 30 then 30 to 45.

You will feel it, and it will be cold. A cold low pressure system will make it a chilly day on Sunday.

Now Santa Barbara, we have the best that winter can serve up. No wind but chilly. Lows around the low 40s at night and highs in the low 60s

Looking into the future...

Dry and cool weather on tap through the new year. Warming temps mid week, allowing us to peak into mid to high 60s.

As far as the 4 letter word Rain goes. There is none for us though next week.

So now you know the weather. Wake up and enjoy California winter.

It is a lot worst in other parts of the country. Did you watch the news last night? What a mess they have in the East.

Have a great weekend, the New Year is right around the corner.
