The Week is Flying By and Christmas is Getting Closer

Good Wednesday morning,

Hump day and Christmas is 6 days away. Even better 3 more days, then each day begins to get longer again.

As we celebrate winter solstice on Friday.

For now, high pressure and off shore winds are going to make it more summer like, than winter.

Today and Thursday temps will be 8 to 12 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Everyone will see 70s and some locations low 80s . Now that’s a nice present for Southern California .

You can see the dome of high pressure keeping clouds away.

Thursday will be the warmest day, then cooling begins Friday as off shore winds turn onshore.

The weekend will be cooler with dry and seasonable temps in the 60s.

Monday flow turns to the northwest and lows begin to dip south again.

It will bring us high and mid level clouds, but no rain.

Tuesday Christmas Day, we will see the rain chances begin. Both model bring a low and rain to the area.

Any rain that falls will be on the lighter side. So no big systems.

That’s it for today.
