12/15/2018 Weather Update

Good Saturday morning,

The clouds of yesterday are gone now. As we talked Friday we had a weak front with just clouds move through. This created nothing more than clouds and the look of rain.

Take a look at the satellite picture. You can see the next system drawing closer. Where this actually looks impressive, it will not be a big rain producer for us.

Today, expect a nice sunny day. Temps will rise a few degrees to the high 60s.

Sunday will also start off nice. Then clouds will start streaming in later in the afternoon.

Sunday night the rain begins to the north. Looks like rain will arrive in SLO somewhere around 7pm. This will work its way south and arrive to our area after midnight.

Monday looks to be wet the first half of the day, then start to clear up.

All in all, this is a weak system, enough rain to wash all the streets, but nothing more than that. Santa Barbara will receive 1/4 inch points to the north 1/4 to 1/2 inch. LA maybe a 1/10 of a inch. The system will really begin to fall apart as it rounds point conception.

Tuesday, high pressure builds and we warm up.

Wednesday and Thursday we warm up more. We are looking to warm into the upper 70s and some 80s even.

Friday, we turn a little cooler.

Ok have a great weekend. 10 days till Christmas 🎄 good thing I am not in charge of shopping.
