Monday Forecast

Good Monday morning,

I hope everyone will be getting this report on time, and my email is back on track.

The weather this week will be warm and summer like in Santa Barbara, however, Ventura and south will have lots of wind.

A Santa Ana event is starting right now. Winds in the mountains are already blowing at 50 miles an hour. Today will blow 40 to 60 miles an hour in the Santa Ana wind areas.

Tuesday through Thursday, the winds will calm and we will just have warm temps. Everyone will see 80s all week.

Friday into Saturday, it looks like one more Santa Ana wind event will happen.

The real interest for me is Mexico...I am heading to my daughter’s wedding on Wednesday. Take a look at the satellite, there is tropical storm Tara.

It does look like Tara will stay out of Cabo until at least the weekend, just in time for me to head home. The interesting part is there is still another system forming south of Tara. The letter Q is next and likely in the next 5 days.

Here is Tara's, movement.

Ok, back home. Ventura get ready for the winds. It is already 72 degrees to start the day. Winds are going to arrive soon, if not now.

Have a great week.

Thank you for the facia repairs and skylight cleaning. We hope all those termites and dry rot stay away from our new boards for a long time!
