This Week's Weather

Good Monday morning,

It was crystal clear last night, bringing us a great view of the rocket launch at Vandenberg. If you did not see it, here are a few pictures from Adam. The rocket on the right of the 2nd picture returned to Vandenberg, and the other in a southern direction.

As for our weather, it is going to be a cooler week. Fall like weather ahead. We have 2 systems, one to the north and another to the south that we are watching.

Today we will see high clouds drift over us, this is doing nothing more than giving us a great sunset.

Tuesday and Wednesday, a low from the north drops south. This will not bring us rain, but fog, low clouds and drizzle is possible in LA.

Looking towards the end of the week, the jury is still out on how hurricane Sergio is going to affect the area. The one thing we do know is the surf will be up Tuesday to Thursday. Sergio is out in the pacific now, but is going to take a hard right turn and head toward central Baja.

It is predicted to make land fall in the same area as last week’s hurricane. That means Arizona and Phoenix might see another good soaking.

For us, one of the models is saying a closed low could suck up some moisture Friday. The other 2 say the rain will stay to the south. We will wait and see if anything develops from this.

Here is how it looks out there right now.

Enjoy your week.

Thank you for the good work. Let’s pray for rain so we can see that it works!
