Thursday Forecast

Good Thursday Morning,

With all the hype for the past week, we wound up getting just a little system.

Even with .41 of an inch. It was nice to see the rain. It has been close to 6 months.

Now the rain is over and the system has moved east. Days will turn back to typical fall weather.

Looks like we will have some north winds moving in Friday night. These will keep the fog away from Santa Barbara, but Ventura to LA will get caught up in a Catalina Eddie. This will create a marine layer, fog and maybe some drizzle. It does not appear this will affect Santa Barbara and north.

Weather will remain on the cooler side. With highs in the low 70s. Perfect fall weather.

The rain was a nice drill, and hopefully we will have many more days of rain this season.

I remember when I moved to California 37 years ago. Someone asked me where I lived before, and I told them Seattle, WA. They proceeded to tell me they like Seattle, because they can see the rain.

I told them it would take a long time before I ever missed the rain. It took me around 35 years to appreciate seeing the rain.

This was an early present to get rain on October 3rd.

Enjoy the clear skies and views after the rain.
