Ready For The Heat!!

Good Monday morning,

It is warm, but pleasant outside right now. Around 60 to 65 degrees.

You should be up early with me, because this is going to be the only coolness for awhile.

Take a look at what is coming for Santa Barbara

The heat will rise today. It will be hot everywhere, but the real highs of the days will be at sunset in Santa Barbara, this will be due to sundowner winds. It does look like these will be calmer, then a few weeks ago. When we had the fire in the Fairview area.

High fire danger does still exist all week, but sundowner winds look to be 10 to 15 miles an hour, with gusts 20 miles an hour. This will keep the overnight temps much higher than this morning

These conditions should be upon us each of the next 3 nights.

As far as the heat wave goes, It will be hot all week. Breaking the century make at least the next 3 days.

Thursday onshore flow returns, but do not expect much of a break in the heat. Temps will be above normal through the entire weekend.

Looks like Sunday we will see the return of monsoonal flow. So, don't be surprised to find the possibility of thunder storms Sunday.

Yes, it is summer and it is in full force... Stay cool ... AC is one of those items that everyone needs this week ...

The only cool areas will be right on the beaches. These will be in the 80s.
