Windy Thursday Morning

Yes, the winds have arrived.... around 3pm yesterday, the wind started and overnight it was howling. Today, all day, will be quite windy in the Santa Barbara, Gaviota, Lompoc, Santa Ynez Valley. Wind will blow though the day at 20 plus miles an hour, with another sundowner wind event this tonight.

Right now there is a weak low pressure system passing over us. This will bring no rain, but of course wind.

On Friday, we will hand the wind off to Ventura. Just like a relay race. Off shore winds will rattle Ventura, and points south through Friday.

This will also create a nice warm up. Everyone will see highs in the upper 70s Friday and into Saturday. Highs in the valleys Saturday should climb to the mid-80s.

Sunday, another weak low pressure system brings back on shore flow. Chances for rain are about the same as today, almost 0 for us.

Of course the relay will pass the wind back to us in the SB areas Sunday night and Monday.

Tuesday warmer, Wednesday another weak system.... just the same typical spring pattern.... every few days....

Yes, we can now call our rainy season to a close.... the likelihood of more than 1/4 of an inch at some time is very low...

Ok, that’s all for today, wind continues... I will see what I have to fish out of my pool when the sun rises.

Enjoy a nice weekend.

Thanks for the nice job you did on my house. My tenant appreciated how considerate and efficient your team was and commented on the excellent job they did. My husband and I went up to inspect the job yesterday, and we were very pleased.
