Weather Update for Thursday Evening
Thought I would give everyone a quick update.
The system is inching closer. You can see the closed low spinning to the north of us.

Heavier rain will spread south tonight and hit Santa Barbara around mid-night. Rain is still on track for us in the Santa Barbara area and Montecito.
Expect higher totals in the mountains, up to 3 inches with 1/2 inch per hour possible. Down along the coast, this will drop off quite a bit. SB and Montecito will still see good totals, because of the south facing.
Maybe 2 inches is about right, and less intensity in hourly rain fall. Less than the 1/2 inch.
Ventura and LA are going to see less rain now. Looks like 1/2 to 1 inch coastal in LA, and up to 2 inches in the mountains.
Snow levels will also drop to around 3500 to 4000 feet tonight.
There has been rain today in all the hills, but very spotty coastal. Rain has been steady all day in Paso and areas north.
Talk to all in the morning.
