Monday Morning Forecast

Good Monday morning,

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Our weather this week is going to bring us some welcome changes. We are going to see a few rain systems drop water on us. The last real rain we received was Jan 9th. The good news is the rain will be much tamer. If you look at the satellite, you can see the system starting to dive north to south just along the land and coast.

This will be a fairly dry system with more over land then water, however, the good news is it is more coastal. This means rain will occur. How much? Well .20 to .40 of an inch.

This system will be very showery in nature. There is also a chance of thunder storms overnight and Tuesday.

The system will also be fairly cold. Snow level will be around 5000 ft to start and drop overnight. This system will be a north to south storm. That means SB will see less than other locations. Santa Ynez should have a fair amount of rain.

Tuesday, look for some thunder storms possible.

Wednesday and the first half of Thursday will be fair.

Thursday night, through Friday we will see the next system. This one looks to bring us better rain, 1/2 to an inch. Once the system goes through today, we will have a better Handel on the next.

In the meantime, look for dry through this afternoon, with some rain starting this evening.

Nothing too heavy.

Have a good Monday, it is a bit warmer this morning. Not as cold as it has been.

Enjoy your day.
