Friday Has Arrived

Good chilly morning,

OMG if you are tired and want to wake up, just walk outside to the wind and cold. You will not need coffee; it is an instant wake up.

Brrr

So enough of this wind and cold. This is not the reason I moved to California!!!!

Just look at the headline on the national weather service.

What are we going to see for today and the weekend? Today, the wind continues and of course another cold day. Snow is falling in the LA Mountains.

For us, it’s just cold and windy. Tonight the winds die down, and only the cold remains. Temps will be even colder tonight, because of no wind.

Saturday and Sunday, we will call it pleasant ...Still on the cool side, but the winds will be calm. Nights are going to be quite cool, with freezing temps in the valleys, but day time should heat up to the mid to upper 60s.

Monday......A low pressure system moves in...Looks like we will see clouds showing up Monday with rain later in the afternoon and overnight. Now don’t get too excited, because we are only looking at 1/10 to 1/3 of an inch.

Tuesday and Wednesday should be fair with another system Thursday afternoon and Friday.

This is still far out there, so models are guessing on what will happen.

Unfortunately, the latest model run shows this system staying more to the north. This means nothing at this point, because yesterday it was a stronger system, "according to the computers."

We will see how this all shakes out over the next few days. For now, it is really cold and windy out there... Not what I would order up for my day.

Dress warm. The weekend should be nice, no winds and highs in the mid to upper 60s.

Stay tuned for future rain updates, have a great weekend, it will be the last one in February of 2018.
