Wednesday Weather

Good Wednesday morning,

I wrote a forecast on my ipad and sent it to my lap top, and now I can’t find it. So round two it is...

Happy Valentine’s Day! Don't forget, I don't want anyone to get in the dog house.

Regarding the weather, the rain sure was a disappointment. Looking at what fell, it amounted to less than 1/10 of an inch. I think Santa Barbara got 5/100. Only LA College got .56 of an inch for a high with this storm.

Pretty much the way this has gone, in this rainy season. . .

That being said, there is still a chance of rain this morning. If you look closely at the satellite, you will see the low spinning off shore.

There are even some showers around right now from LA to Santa Barbara.

This will not amount to much, 1/10th to 1/4 at best. This is thanks to the cut-off low that is just spinning out over the water.

This is supposed to open up and move south this morning, then east. That will end the rain chances this afternoon.

Thursday look for some wind from the northwest. This will be felt in SB as high pressure comes back.

Friday winds shift to Ventura as we develop another Santa Ana event. Winds will kick up late Thursday night through Friday.

The weekend is looking good, highs in the low 70s and no rain.

Looks like late Sunday we will see another low pressure system come down the coast. This does not appear to be a big system, but may cause drizzle and some showers Monday and Tuesday. We will just need to see what happens.

In the meantime, Happy Valentine’s Day.

Testimontials

Thank you for coming up to do the demo for the Career Fair at Los Prietos. All the boys were fascinated by the chance to see how sheet metal is formed, and to do some of it themselves. A hands-on demo is always the most effective in getting the boys involved. We really appreciate your arranging the demo, especially since you had already put so much energy into the talk and demo you did for the Construction Technology class. The teaching and Probation staff were all impressed by how involved the boys were in your demo.
