Good Saturday Morning

Weekend has arrived,

Looks like a mixed bag for our weekend weather. We will have a little of everything, but rain.

Today, we are starting out with fog and it will be a cooler day, with highs in the low 60s.

Tonight, the winds kick up in Ventura and points south as we get a Santa Ana wind. Expect gusts to 45 miles an hour and 20 to 30 sustained. No wind in SB.

Sunday, SB and all areas should reach a high of 70 with a nice day in SB. Wind will continue in Ventura – south.

Monday, the beginning of the work week brings a low pressure system that is going to give us some rain.

Monday night, the rain should start and go late into early Tuesday. This will not be a big system, but 1/4 to 1/2 is likely for areas south of point conception. Areas north will not see a lot with this system.

Tuesday, rain...light to moderate.

Wednesday through Friday, is a big ??? This is because a cut off low is predicted to form and just spin around. This may bring rain or showers.

This part of the forecast is too far out to call. We will see how this develops the beginning of the week.

In the meantime, the weekend over all should be nice. In Ventura, get your golf in today. Sunday will be windy.

The best news is the rain forecast. Not a big one Monday night. Just enough to start cleaning all the mud off the streets.
