Home With Mud

Good Friday morning,
No excitement in the forecast, unless you yearn for highs in the 70s, for some time.
Interesting perspective,
- We have had basically one day of rain since the start of our rain year Oct 1st.
- January, we had 10 days of a high of 70 degrees or more, and 5 days over 80.
- The first day of February starts our streak of 80 and over.
- There is no rain in sight. Next Wednesday we should get warmer again, kicking temps back into the 80s.
This year is not looking good for rain. I guess that is actually the best thing for Montecito. I was touring the area yesterday while on calls. It is incredible to see the damage up close.
One home on winding creek road off of Romero Canyon had 6 to 8 feet of mud all around it. The attached photo is from the good side of the house.
Some areas I do not even recognize.

Ok that’s it for now, enjoy summer in February.
