Good Monday morning,

The first Monday in March and the finish of the first storm in March with some impressive numbers to start the month.
https://www.weather.gov/lox/LAXRRMSBA

Today we will see some wind, but really no rain here, a few spotty showers on north facing mountains. More wind in SB this afternoon and tonight from the northwest just like last night. It looks like 2  dry days before the next storm arrives Wednesday.
This is 1100 mile west of SF right now... https://zoom.earth/maps/satellite/#view=39.7,-117.2,4z/date=2024-03-04,00:30,-8

It will slowly move towards us, but this one is a little more unpredictable. Models are not sure of the exact track and it might become a cut off low.

Regardless it looks like rain Wednesday and Wednesday night. 1/4 to 3/4 of an inch. Then clearing Thursday and into the weekend, with nice weather on tap.

Hopefully we will start to see a dry pattern after Wednesday's storm.

It has been an incredible year to date for rainfall especially in the Santa Barbara and montecito area. Santa Barbara is at 141% above rainfall for the entire year, and it is only  March. 189% for the year to-date and we are not done yet. Ok that’s the Monday update, enjoy a few days of dry weather.

Thank you! The new downspouts have completely stopped the drumming of drips when it rains!
