Good Saturday morning,

A great weekend ahead with nice winter weather, highs in the low 60s and lows at night in the 30s to low 40s.

Tonight a weak system passes through and brings light rain to SLO, 1/10th of an inch. Here nothing, only some wind.

Next week not a lot of excitement, another weak low passes Wednesday, but looks to affect only SLO, here dry all week.

This pattern continues through Friday at least, but the extended forecast is looking like rain will return starting the week of the 19 of January.

These are the words of the national weather service.

The mostly dry pattern will likely persist through next Friday. We may enter a wetter pattern as early as next weekend with the Climate Prediction Center indicating a 40-50 percent chance of above normal rainfall in the 6-10 day period (Jan 18-22).

Enjoy one more week of dry weather the pattern will be changing likely next weekend.
