Ok now it is really Friday,

It is a chilly start to our morning 30 degrees in Santa Ynez and low 40s in SB.

Today will be a cold start, but plenty of warming with the sunshine. Today will be warmer than yesterday, highs in the lower 60s.

As The weekend is approaching Saturday will be similar to today chilly night and low 60s during the day. https://zoom.earth/maps/satellite/

Saturday night, a weak low pressure system approaches and the affects will only be felt on the central coast. Here, no rain, just cool and some wind.

It looks like Sunday we will see some Santa Ana winds and warming day time temps.

Looking into next week we will see continued dry weather through Wednesday and at this point likely the rest of the week.

If you look at the graphic, you can see all the atmospheric moisture is remaining to the north. Keeping us dry and our friend in the north quite wet with lots of rain and snow.

The AR will sag south at some point likely the week of 22nd and we will return to winter rainy season. Stay tuned and have a great weekend

For those that follow lake levels we are sitting pretty good for the first half of January, even with little rainfall   https://files.countyofsb.org/pwd/hydrology/Rainfall%20Reports/rainfallreport.pdf
