Tuesday Update

Good Tuesday morning,

Yesterday's storm gave us a whopping 1/10 of an inch.... Not the totals we wished for, but we will take what we get....

Today will be a carbon copy of yesterday, but rain totals will be much better.

Looks like rain will start up around 10 to 11 in the Santa Ynez Valley and noon for Santa Barbara.

We are looking at 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rain today into tonight.

Wednesday and Thursday will be dry, sunny and warm...

Friday there is another system that will bring us rain. (You can see it on the satellite picture) this storm now seems to be slowing down and might not hit us until later in the day on Friday.

We will watch this and decide if that holds true.

In the meantime, rain today will start up north to south. Rain is entering Paseo Robles right now. It will flow down the coast this morning, stretching into Ventura County this afternoon. It will lose its punch as it rounds point conception.

SLO and areas north will see much more rain, with totals of 1 to 1 1/2 inches.

We will get 1/4 to 1/2in. There is some southwest enhancement that will help enhance the rain in our neck of the woods.

Enjoy the rain, we need it all.

Nor Cal has had lots of rain lately, so that is helping the snow pack and drought. At least it is raining hard somewhere in California.
